17 października na obiektach Gminnego Ośrodka Kultury i Sportu w Żarowie odbyły się VI Mistrzostwa Żarowa Dzieci w Judo. Zawody zgromadziły ponad 200 zawodników z klubów z Dolnego Śląska i przygranicznego Broumova (Czechy).
MKS „KAROLINA” Jaworzyna Śląska reprezentowało sześciu zawodników sekcji Judo. W kategorii dzieci w rocznikach 2007-2008, w swojej kategorii wagowej bez konkurencyjna była Hanna Sułek, wygrywając wszystkie walki przed czasem i zajmując I – miejsce, w tej samej kategorii wagowej III – miejsce zajęła Wiktoria Nalichowska był to pierwszy start Wiktorii w zawodach judo. III miejsce w swojej kategorii wagowej zajęła również Anna – Maria Michalska.
W rocznikach 2005 -2006 IV miejsce w swojej kategorii wagowej zajął Gracjan Jaroszewski , w grupie dzieci starszych rocznikach 2003-2004 po bardzo dobrych walkach III miejsce zajął Oskar Wojtkowiak , natomiast w młodzikach rocznik 2001-2002 w swojej kategorii wagowej na drugim stopniu podium stanął Denis Wojtkowiak.
